Pudong:
So we got out of the taxi in front of the Oriental Pearl Tower (which looks like a couple of big pearls in the middle of a skyscraper) and headed over to the Jin Mao Tower for drinks upstairs. We then realized that the Financial Tower (that looks, as Angie correctly pointed out, like a Bottle Opener- we referred to it as the "bottle opener building" the whole trip) had drinks too and was bigger and higher. So off we walked through the heat and haze and smog toward the the towers.
In the meantime, there is plenty of development going on in Shanghai and in Pudong particularly.
